Shah Rukh Khan will host singing sensation Akon at Mannat in December. Sources say that the singer will be in town then to record another song for SRK.
Akon, who has been bowled over by SRK and also the concept of his film Ra.One, has gelled well with the composers and loves their groovy tracks.
"The last time Akon was in town, he became good friends with SRK and Kareena," says a source. "They had a great session talking about their different cultures and knowing each other. Akon had said that Mumbai gives him the feeling that he is at home having also done a hit show here. He was taken by surprise when Shah Rukh threw a party in his honour in Mumbai and many people turned up. He felt really special working for SRK and he took back this warm feeling with him to the US," adds the source.
During the London shooting schedule of the movie, SRK and the production team decided that since the movie had someone like Akon, they should showcase him more. They felt doing another song with him would help. SRK approached him and Akon probably tweaked his schedule so accommodate his trip to India. When contacted, SRK told TOI, "Yes Akon is set to do another song for us. We are just working on it to finalise things. December might be the month. We are excited to have him in our film."

Superstar Shah Rukh KHAN is known as the Baadshah of Bollywood and he owns a huge fan base all over the world. This time, Chinese people seem to be impressed by SRK’s charisma. Buzz has it that Shah Rukh’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ is scheduled for the premiere in China.
According to the reports, China has not seen release of any Indian movie from the last thirty years. The premiere of ‘My Name Is Khan’ is tentatively slated for November 30 in Beijing.
After getting the invite, Shah Rukh KHAN and Karan Johar, director and co-producer of ‘My Name Is Khan’, seem to be on cloud nine. SRK and Karan are busy with the preparations to create history with the premiere of their film in Beijing. Karan is already deciding about Shah Rukh’s clothes for the premiere. Reportedly, the dresses will depict a mix of ethnic Indian wear with a typical Chinese style.
When contacted Karan Johar said, “It’s an honour especially since China allows only the release of 20 foreign films a year. I can’t remember when was the last time an Indian film was released there. We must have done something right this time.”
Shah Rukh KHAN is currently shooing for Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 2’ in Berlin. He will be going to China directly from there for the premiere of his much talked about movie ‘My Name Is Khan’.

Shah Rukh Khan has roped in Hans Zimmer of The Dark Knight and The Lion King fame, to compose music for his home production.
Though known to be a perfectionist even otherwise, King Khan it seems wants to put all his energies in making his production RA.One, an international success.
Not too long ago, Shah Rukh Khan signed the pop icon Akon to sing one of the songs in the film. And now, the grapevine has it that SRK has signed German composer Hans Zimmer to work on the background score of the film. And if all goes well, this will be the first time Hans will be composing music for a Bollywood movie.
Hans Zimmer is recognised as one of Hollywood’s most innovative musical talents for having worked on super hits like The Lion King, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Pirates of The Caribbean series, The Da Vinci Code, The Dark Knight, Sherlock Holmes and even the much-talked-about Inception.
A source from the unit reveals, “Shah Rukh Khan has roped in a lot of foreign technicians for his sci-fi flick. He wants the film to be of international standards. It was his director Anubhav Sinha who suggested Hans Zimmer’s name for the background score.
Anubhav took the help of his contacts to arrange for a meeting between Hans and SRK. With time, Hans agreed to come on board.”
Apparently, Hans has refused several Bollywood offers in the past and this time, he has agreed to make an exception for Shah Rukh’s film Ra.One.
You wonder if King Khan’s charms won the day.Well surely, but the buzz is that Hans has been paid a whopping 2 Crore just to compose the background music for the film.

Ra.One release date stated to Diwali 2011. It has been postponed from 3rd June 2011 to Diwali due to the work progress in under production and SFX
